This place is awesome if you like Sake. It's kind of hidden in the basement - a super comfy place. They have a huge selection of sake with descriptions and a small selection of really amazing food.

Everything Else

Brooklyn Heights Promenade is so beautiful and best of all, little known, so less people than the High Line. Watching the sun sink behind the Manhattan Skyline from here is unforgettable.

This is the oldest bathhouse in NYC (from 1892). It's a stress free zone, where you can enjoy the different saunas and sign up for massages. It's a super old school place, which I really enjoy!

The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the Mahattan's West Side. It's a great and alternative park - It runs from Gansevoort St. to West 34th Street.

I'm a full on coffee lover, and this place is part of my morning routine! There is also another new amazing coffee place on Ludlow St called Caffe Vita: 124 Ludlow Street. Check both of them out!

Fantastic Italian food in a vibrant atmosphere. Everything on the menu is a winner in this East Village favorite. I always get the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes appetizer.

I go to this diner every week for breakfast. It's inexpensive and the food is good. There is no loud music playing, the place is big and the service is fast.

Great mexican food. Next to the restaurant they have a little cafe, which is where I always order food from. I normally get the Portobello and goat cheese burrito.

This is a Chinese supermarket and a different experience to Whole Foods, firstly price wise. It's VERY cheap. You can buy regular groceries but also live frogs and some staff don't speak English.
