Just 400 mt far from home, this place is more than a bakery, more than a place for a light lunch... by Sergio, who's a sort of institution in our neighbourhood. Super bread, great pizza (try pizza bianca with mortadella...) desserts, salads, coffee and more. Outdoor garden open from spring to autumn, overlooking Piazza Bernini, the heart of life in the neighborhood of San Saba. Very tasteful aperitif-dinner

In the district of Testaccio, 20 minutes away from home. A little more expensive than other places, perhaps, but it's considered one of the best places in the city if you want to eat really "alla romana" with quality and taste. Excellent pasta dishes, veal and vegetables(try chicory or artichokes...), good wine choice (glass or bottle). Many seats outside. prices a bit higher than the average, but it worth!
