My favourite aussie pie place. Their chicken pie (with white wine in it) is hands down tops. About $7 a pie. Also other goodies.

Hands down best Tacos in Canada. At Kensington Market to boot. Have some tacos and then go sit at the Portuguese bar/resto Amadeu's and finish a jug of sangria or a few beers or hang out.

It's not for everyone but I just love the laid back vibe of this Portuguese haunt at Kensington market. Also they show football (soccer) matches there. Family type down home Portuguese fare.

Everything Else
Designed by Frank Ghery the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) also houses works by The Group of Seven. It is a wonderful building to spend time in and also has some excellent Inuit and Native Art.

My favourite place to hang out and also get some good fruit, veg and stuff to make dinner with. A wonderful open air space to stroll. Great place for snacking and even drinking.

Our museum houses some excellent collections. From dinosaurs to a South Asian art collection. A great Asian (as in East) collection and much more. Look them up. Highly recommended.

The best farmers market in the City. Happens every Thursday from about 3p.m. to 7p.m. Fruit, veg, and other great food. Summer and fall is particularly wonderful. Open all year.
