The iconic ceramic firm has a house in Madrid. Defined as the Bauhaus of Galician porcelain, it has a space that recreates the spirit and artisan atmosphere of its factories, designed by the interior designer Isabel López Quesada. In a 19th century building, more than 200 years of history, design and modernity coexist. Stopping at its Galician pine shelves and getting to know the recreation of the baking process are part of its attraction, which gladly exhibits its iconic cobalt blue in more classic pieces and new collections of cutlery, vases, vases and now also leather accessories. An authentic gallery-shop.

At Casa Camacho you will not only find yayos with berets (a homemade cocktail made from homemade, gin and dry vermouth), but also some very sweet ones that come in very easily no matter what time of year it is. Very good, but be careful with the hangover. During the day it is full of the clientele of a lifetime, at night most of them are young, modern, and not so modern, from Malasaña. The perfect day, without a doubt, is completed with a visit to this house, with a tapa of tripe with chickpeas in hand.

With a century and a half of life behind it, this Madrid tavern run by mother and son, brims with an atmosphere full of good vibes and excellent gastronomy such as potato tortillas with onion, glory of the area and obligatory pilgrimage for many nationals and foreign in search of the north-tortillero, as well as cured meats from León, anchovies from the Cantabrian Sea, Joselito cold meats, squid rings, cod in garlic sauce, onions stuffed with tuna, broad beans with squid and a series of highly demanded croquettes that cover a range that goes from cabrales cheese to cecina cold meat and big head shrimps to cod.

One of the most legendary and great of Madrid gastronomy. Its mirrors have reflected great historical, political and social events in Spain, since 1839 when it opened its doors. It was the first restaurant in Spain with separate tables and a printed menu. Having an aperitif in the store: a Samovar broth with a "Fino" and puff pastries, stuffed trays, croquettes or magnificent sandwiches is an exercise that everyone should do at least once in their lives.

This was a depressed neighborhood in the 90's. Local venues have been transformed into cultural areas such as Matadero and Tabacalera. Great for a day plan: - San Fernando market is less touristic than the other markets. Great vibe to enjoy different types of dishes for lunch & the famous "Tardeo" (which means afternoon drinking). - Matadero venue (with lots of exhibitions & concerts). - The Cáscara bridge crossing Madrid Río with a mosaic signed by Daniel Canogar. - Antique stores: Walk around and explore the streets.
