Great place to fish! I think you still do not need a license to fish on the fishing pier but you can doublecheck at the local bait shop out on the pier

It is nice to walk out on south jetty and watch for dolphins. there is an adorable place that sells good burgers, tacos and ice cream, etc at start of the jetty. The south jetty has a big parking lot. This is near my favorite crow’s nest restaurant so if you eat there -it’s nice to stroll out on a walk before or after on the jetty
