The best Indian restaurant in Gisborne for dine in and takeaway. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait but its worth it once you get the food. They also have a pool table and a spot out the back for large bookings.

The bakery in the Ballance St Village does really nice pies, cakes and slices. There is also a Thai Cafe in the village which has decent priced, quite tasty meals. Not the best Thai food in the world but worth a look

This is a unique to Gisborne tourist attraction. There is the Rere rockslide that you can slide down on a bodyboard, tyre tube or your backside if you're keen. There is also the Rere Falls waterfall. Plus the hidden away Champagne Pools

This is my favourite beach in New Zealand. Great surf, white sand, easy access, low crowd factor. This is the stretch of beach where you will be staying if you stay with us

The Wine Centre is a pleasant place to have a drink on the Wharf. There is a decent range of wine and beer. They also do tapas which is a bit pricey but still tasty. Sometimes they have live music in the summer.
