Food Scene

You'll need a reservation in order to snag a table at this popular spot (which as our guests, we will gladly make for you). In the trendy "Nouveau Bistrot" style of cuisine, the lunch menu changes everyday and the dinner menu every month. You'll definitely want to go with the full proposed menu (entré, plat, dessert), rather than ordering "à la carte". Fantastic food and friendly service at a very reasonable price.

Parks & Nature

Behind the tourist office you'll find the famous view of the old mill on the Aure river. Continue along the banks you'll spot lovely homes and a children's park. Continue further and the path becomes more lush and wooded. A good turning point is at the city limit with St. Vigor, although you can continue much further. Makes for a wonderful sunny weather walk.

Arts & Culture

This often overlooked, little gem of a museum is really worth the while. Wonderfully presented and curated, each room follows a different time period in Bayeux's history. Part of the 3B museum plan, you can get a discount when you buy tickets in conjunction with the Tapestry and/or Battle of Normandy Memorial Museum. A wonderful rainy day activity, I can't recommend it enough!
