Wine, food, vineyards, Hunter Valley Gardens. Lots of touristy things to do and see and buy. Wine tasting tours. Start at the Visitors Centre to get a map and advice as to where to go from there depending on your own particular tastes.

Very long beach 30kms all the way to Anna Bay. Swimming, walking, getting away from the crowds. Can park at the Stockton ferry terminal and walk along the other side of Newcastle harbour to the harbour wall on this side and read about the history of shipwrecks in times gone by. Good view of Newcastle city. Nice little beach suburb. Very handy access to Newcastle city if you want to avoid parking hassles in the city. Ferry leaves every half hour. Can recommend meals at General Washington Hotel.

Stockton Beach
