We think Sant Ambroeus has one of the best brunches in the city, even if it's a bit on the pricey side. Dinner is also excellent (and romantic). Bonus: It's conveniently located on our corner.

Cafe Cluny has a great brunch and also does very good French lunches and dinners. We recommend it -- but make sure to book (they don't take reservations for Sunday brunch, so get there early).

They don't take reservations, and you have to get there early... the locals will crowd you out quickly. The Spotted Pig is known for having one of the best burgers in the city. Brunch is good too.

The small plates are exquisite, the atmosphere is great and the service is attentive. Definitely a good choice for a romantic date or for a small group. Be prepared to sit at the counter if late.
