It's relocated to Ballina, so it's easier to get to. It's French! They do a 3-course menu for a set price - around $50 per person. The food is superb, there are usually about 5 choices for each course. The wine is all French....as are most of the restaurant staff!

Great walk up to the iconic Byron Bay lighthouse (or you can drive up there, but parking is limited at the top). Good spot for seeing whales, turtles and dolphins.

It's a beautiful lake surrounded by ti-trees, the oil of which makes the water dark. It's reputedly very good for your skin. The water is always a few degrees warmer than the sea. It's one of the few places on the east coast where you can see the sunset over the water. Take a picnic & your swimmers!

Since the Aquarius Festival in the 70's, it seems that Nimbin hasn't changed much. Lots of colourful characters wander the streets, and colourful murals adorn the shops. Good cafes, interesting people and shops.
