From the front, this looks like a shop, but there's a restaurant hidden inside that apparently serves exceptional artisan pizzas. We can't wait to try it and it's only about a block away from Depot.House.

Due to recent bad guest behavior and vandalism, this privately owned quarry may not be as accessible as it once was, but give it a try. Swimming is great and there is a grassy area for picnics.

This is actually south of Manchester in Sunderland, VT on Historic Rt 7. Owned by the monks, they charge to drive to the top but if your car has good brakes, it's worth the drive. Thrilling car ride and the view is simply fantastic.

A beautiful house and grounds steeped in history. Before air conditioning, Manchester in the Mountains was a popular destination for those wanting to escape the heat of big cities. This house is a fine example of homes from that period.

I like kitchen stuff so I love this store. They have everything from the ultra-pricey but oh-so divine LeCrueset cookware to all sorts of colorful kitchen gadgets, cookbooks, cake decorating necessities. Heaven!

They've got some really large machines now for horse blankets and will send your fancies off for dry cleaning. They will even hand press your dress shirts! This is our local laundry and we love it! Ask for Cindy if you need help with anything at all.
