This is my "go-to" place in North Beach. It's a very simple Colombian place and the only thing I ever get there is the sancocho. (stew served with rice and half of an avocado. I occasionally also add an arepa (corn pancake) to the order.

This place is the best take-out deal in North Beach. Very cheap plate lunches with huge portions. One plate is usually enough for two people. It's also a grocery store that's close to the condo.

Parks & Nature
I might be a bit biased, but this is the best beach in Miami. No hotels and no high rises, just park space and a beach. The park closes at 8pm so make sure you get out before they lock the gates.
