This place doesn't look like much from the outside but its my favorite seafood spot in the area. Tourists go to Cannery Row and Fisherman's Warf...locals come here.

I usually only go here with visitors, but its a fun little stop. The Warf has a ton of restaurants. Each serves their own recipe of clam chowder. Walk down the Warf and try a free sample of each one!

My all-time favorite beach here! I love dog watching as much as I love people watching so this place is perfect. Sunsets are amazing. You can even climb up the rocks onto Pebble Beach from here.

Love to take people kayaking here. Rent a kayak at the mouth of the Slough right off of highway 1 then feel those muscles burn as you get up close and personal with seals, otters, and pelicans.

My go-to hike spot. Plenty of trails. Dog and horse friendly. Beautiful views. I go here once a week for a little exercise and nature for myself and my pup.

Great relaxation spot. Hot and cold pools, saunas, hammocks, and fire pits. You can get a massage if you like, or you can do the relaxation cycle in the pools. Its a quiet zone, no kiddies here.

My favorite thing to do in Carmel is to go to the information center, by the wine passport for $60, then do the wine walk. If you love wine you will love this walk! But start at the Cheese Shop!

Thousands of cheeses! Go in, talk to the show workers (they seriously know their cheeses), and try as much as you want. Buy a few slices to take with you on the wine walk.
