This is in an old bungalow in Seminole Heights. Menu changes weekly - all local fresh stuff. I believe they have a James Beard award, but you'd never know it b/c they're so low key.

Great little local beer and cafe joint. They have a ton of different stuff, sometimes live music. Really cool vibe, super chill.

This is one of my favorites. Great prohibition style cocktails. Fun little dark spot. Love watching the bartenders make drinks. Popcorn is delicious. Make sure to call ahead and get the password!

This is a DIVE bar. Super eclectic crowd, great foosball players here. Located downtown, best to go later into the night after you've had a few drinks. Famous for their heavy pours.

This is right across from Boca. Great for wifi or if you just need a quick breakfast. All their juice is organic and handcrafted. I believe they also have local coffee.

One of my favorite lunch spots downtown. They make the best Cuban sandwich in my opinion. And there's an oriental market right next door if you're in the mood for cheap produce.

Located downtown along Tampa's "Riverwalk." Great views of the University of Tampa, fine arts museum and downtown. Usually there is something going on in the park on the weekends.

There's a lot to do here! Tons of local breweries, markets, restaurants, etc. Very "artsy" vibe in the area. Tons of beaches this way as well.

About a 5 min. drive from the apartment. Really nice views. There's also a really great restaurant there called Ulele in an old renovated warehouse.

Lots of bars and places to eat... just prepare yourself for a lot of young inebriated professionals/students (I would taxi or uber there because parking is tough).
