Best for brunch. They have the best chilaquiles! I'm not a big fan of the dinner menu but the breakfast/brunch scene here is great. Really good cafe con leche (obviously! )

Very popular. Make sure to order the fat rice! it's enough for 2-4 people to share. This is a Portuguese/ Asian fusion restaurant. Call ahead for reservations. It can be difficult to get a table without a week-a few days in advance.

Known as one of the best Ramen places in the city of chicago. Call ahead to ask about reservations. It gets really crowded on weekends. I'd call as far in advance as possible.

Really good cajun style seafood. Try the crab pad sauce- spicy! BYOB! Also their paleta (ice cream ) is delcious try the S'more paleta!

Good pizza (cash only). There is an atm in the restaurant and you get a free shot of Jameson if you show them your receipt. The pizza is good but I won't make the trip to that part of logan square just for this place, especially when Reno is closer. But if you're checking out the bars on that part of Milwaukee this is a good place to hit up. They have a PB&J special for $6 I believe. Slice of pizza + PBR + shot of Jameson. They also have Jameson ice cream.

This place is insanely popular! It is luau themed and all their drinks are VERY VERY strong. They make all their syrups and mixers from scratch. Get here early as they have long lines starting at 9pm on weekends. This place was nationally ranked as one of the best bars.

Great drinks, nice atmosphere. The host is very friendly too. perfect place for a quiet romantic night. it closes a little early and it fills up quickly so get there before 9pm to avoid a long wait.

You'll have to take a cab or uber as it's quite a long walk but if you enjoy long walks, it's doable. I've definitely walked there several times.

This has become increasingly popular. Line starts around 10pm. This is a bar with a dance area. It can get really crowded and really sweaty. The upstairs is a completely different atmosphere more chill and different specialty cocktails. The music changes and is a bit more of a place to talk and drink. If you arrive and see a long line, I wouldn't spend too much time waiting to get in. I'm not sure why it's so popular all of a sudden!

This is a place you go to if it's 3am and you still want to keep the party going. The music is definitely NOT top hits or anything you'd hear on the radio. It is a true hipster haven, but is really fun if you're in the mood for a really different that your run of the mill juke and grinding bar.
