Fayette is a wonderful day trip with well marked trails and roads the ghost town of the early1900's. The town has been restored for folks to see how people of that time lived and worked.

Fayette is a wonderful day trip with well marked trails and roads the ghost town of the early1900's. The town has been restored for folks to see how people of that time lived and worked.
The light house at the end of co.rd.513 is a great place to go to watch a sunset or to see the Monarch butterflies migrate in August. A nice evening drive that you will be sure to see white tail deer in the fields along with sand hill cranes and wild turkeys.
