A fantastic view of the ocean. Also, this was one of the staging areas for World War 2. You can still see some of the old batteries and bunkers if you look around.

Besides the stunning view, you can check out the history behind the Korean bell, watch kites fly, and maybe even glimpse the locals flying their planes over the ocean.

One of the few places you can have a beach bonfire. There are about 5-10 bonfire pits, so be sure to come early and snag one! Beach volleyball nets are also adjacent.

This is a cute marine aquarium located within 10-15 minutes from the house. Definitely a place to take the kids. Plus, it's right next to the beach.

This is a huge shopping center and has everything you could possibly want. The re-construction should be done by Fall 2015, but the mall is open during the construction.

A little further than the other places I've mentioned, but this place is a ton of fun. It's basically a giant warehouse stuffed with connected trampolines. There's even dodgeball.

If you're in the mood for a movie, this theatre is walking distance from the house. It's just your average theater, but the surrounding restaurants make it a great experience.

This is a classic California beach coupled with a view of cliffside Palos Verdes. I highly recommend checking this place out at least once during your trip.
