There are more "classier" Mexican restaurants in Natal, however, Novo Mexico is by far the best one. This is the real deal if you want Tex-Mex food in Natal. Niels hails from New Mexico, USA and he knows his Tex-Mex with all levels of spicy available. Very enjoyable, good food and friendly host. Very Recommended.

This is the best steakhouse in Natal, period. There is another one in town that is also very popular but for me this is the one. It is located right on the Morcegos beach cliff with great views of the ocean, amazing range of food, big portions (go to this place when hungry!), great service and just a nice atmosphere. Recommend.

Naf Naf is right next door Casa Monte Belo and it is the best beachfront restaurant in the area for lunch. A very varied amount of different dishes from meat, chicken, fish, shrimp and seafood. They use a buffet system for a fixed price but it´s worth it. The owner Tanize is super friendly and the decor is tastefully done with typical local influences.

A very varied amount of different dishes from meat, chicken, fish, shrimp and seafood. They use a buffet system for a fixed price but it´s worth it. The owner Tanize is super friendly and the decor is tastefully done with typical local influences.

Fort built by the Portuguese colonists and later renovated and improved by the Dutch settlement. This is, perhaps, the most iconic building of Natal and is a nice visit. The local government needs to take care of it better but it still nice for a quick tour and history of the place.

Beautiful lake formed by large sand dunes with stunning views to the sea. Here you can zipline from the top of the dune into the lake below, have a few snacks, relax. A nice place to chill for 1-2 hours. Is situated right next to casa monte belo.

This beach lies on a peninsula where there are no cars just donkey-pulled carts. A few charming, rustic pousada´s , very calm with an amazing sunset. A very nice getaway for a weekend to forget about the stresses of everyday modern life.
