I ｌike this place for its calm atmosphere, forests, flower, etc. It is beautiful especially in spring and autumn. I have a member card that you can use. Use the entrance on Kitayama street.

Good for breakfast or brunch that you can visit by my bicycle. The soup and other dished in the 1st floor is great but I like the 2nd floor for its space and less people.

It is actually a collection of temples with forest and beautiful gardens and structures. I went to Joya-no-kane (bells ringing out the old year) last year and stroke a bell. It was a speciall moment.

To be honest, I am not a crazy fun of this Kyoto style ramen soup but this HQ in this chain is really recommended - I understood why Kyoto people love it when I visited.
