Modern and kind of austere, Homa offers up great 'new Serbian', fusion-y cuisine. Take a look at their menu, it changes seasonally. If you want to treat yourself, this and Public are good choices.

If you are biking along the quay, stop here and sit on their little island attached to a boat, for drinks and really good pizza. Unless its a weekend. Then it will likely be too packed to get a seat.

Personally, it is my favorite Belgrade's kafana. If it is warm, getting seated outdoors is lovely. Otherwise, they have a separate nonsmoking section. Try as many dishes as you can. Vegetarians can go with a few starters too.

Restaurant Šajka in Pančevo. Such a unique experience to ride over a river to reach this restaurant, ride included. I would recommend that reservations be recommended, especially on weekends. Perfect for lunch time and outdoor seating.
Pancevo is such a cute and relaxing city; you should visit it.

When you reach Brankov Bridge you can either cross it and go via New Balgrade towards Zemun (Gardoš) or you can continue streight pass by Belgrade Waterfront, pass under bridges, pass Belgrade Fair Building and reach Ada Ciganlija Lake.
Both routes are wonderful and great way to get to know Belgrade while being active.

Great museum that links perfectly to the background and concept of Yugodom. Mausoleum House of Flowers has a lovely cafe and museum shop next to it. All are situated in a very green part of the city, next to the park.

Only 10-15 walk from the house to the Dunav Stanica from where every 15 minutes go buses to Pancevo. After only 20 minutes you are in another reality! Get of by Hotel Tamis and start your expoloration there, by the Tamis river. Try unique restaurant Sajka, on the other bank of Tamis river (ride included!), if avaialble try snenkole desert. Visit downtown and its museums, galeries... if its warm seat outside at Vojvode Zivojina Misica and have a coffee/drink. Around the corner try cakes, coffee, icecream or oldschool (very sweet) lemonade at the vintage style poslasticrnica Popovic.
