The best dinner is the amazing South on Albany (bistro) that has the friendliest service of them all. Sonia and John are doing amazing local cuisine and the place is justifiably hatted and always buzz

Hungry Duck is a fine dining, modern Asian restaurant that has been a mainstay of the dining scene in Berry for years. Same chef as Wharf Rd in Nowra. Beautiful kitchen garden and great service.

The unexpectedly fabulous Leaf (Vietnamese/Thai) is a beautiful spot for some alfresco dining. It's BYO (grab a bottle from the Berry Wine shop) and the duck pancakes and spicy pork dishes are famous.

Our current favourite for a long late lunch- great wine list, delicious thin pizzas, pasta to die for that is contemporary and fresh and a grassy courtyard for you to park doggies or watch the kids run around in. It's also the only place that you can eat lunch in that late afternoon stretch when everyone else is re-setting for dinner. Courtney runs an awesome show (his old place Blue Swimmer Crab at Gerroa was the old favourite) and now he's done it again!

Best bread/pastries and #2nd best coffee is Milkwood (the main drag outlet of the famous Berry Sourdough cafe). Jelle is very friendly and worth a chat. The lamingtons are amazing.

Sightseeing
Stunning bush walk up to the incredible views of the sandstone formations- the Drawing Room rocks. It's steep, but manageable. And worth every minute. Take care however- some horrible accidents have happened up there as the rocks are unfenced and the drop long.

Parks & Nature
Amazing surf- incredibly beautiful beach with kangaroos in the picnic area. Be careful not to leave valuables in the car as break-in's have been a regular issue in the past. But don't be deterred- its' worth every minute of the 45min drive from our place

Bens Walk
Bens WalkA beautiful and varied bush walk along the Shoalhaven River.
Again a stunning well maintained and varied walking track hidden in Bomaderry. Do the 5km round trip along the creek for a good morning walk thats not too steep. Also dog friendly!!

Arthur Boyd donated his stunning riverfront property to the Australian people. On Sundays you can visit and picnic in the grounds. His studio is still set up as he left it and the house is filled with 3 generations of Boyd family artworks. They also run amazing concerts about once per month at the Riversdale site.
