Great place right on the water to have a good meal and drinks. Choose from indoor seating or outdoor seating on the dock. Most Saturday evenings in the summer they have live music.
The marina store is fully stocked if you need boating supplies. There is also a very cute and quaint shop with housewares, mostly local and nautical themed.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Watch the Charlotte, VT to Essex, NY Lake Champlain Ferry come and go on a beautiful deck while enjoying a great drink and meal.

Beautiful marina and public beach. Beach is clean and free and there are lifeguards. There are also free boat rentals(kayaks, canoes etc) from the lifeguards. You need a photo ID and $20 cash which you’ll get back when the boat is returned.

One of my favorite cities, so many great things to see and do. You can’t go wrong with the restaurants or breweries downtown. Easy walking city, very safe and clean. The waterfront is just beautiful.

About 25 minutes from our home, Middlebury is a great little college town. Several great restaurants and taverns (Two Brothers Tavern!)
There is a Hannaford Grocery store and a co-op in town which are the closest grocery stores besides the super Walmart.
