Wilbur's Place has been taken over and is now known as WILMER. Affordable and delicious home style Italian food with a great list of natural wines in a Kings Cross alleyway. Wilmer is a pop up so will only be open until late February 2017.

My favourite beach to hang out at in Sydney. Neilsen is a harbour beach that is more secluded and out of the way so it away from most of the crowds and is surrounded by bushland on either side.
Because Neilsen Park is on the harbour it's best to avoid it for a couple of days after heavy rain.

The Bondi to Bronte is a must for anyone visiting Sydney. It's a pretty mild walk with a few stairs - you can walk the whole way from Coogee to Bondi if you're up for a bigger walk. I always recommend that you start at either Coogee or Bronte and finish up at Bondi - the view around the headland at South Bondi really is stunning,

A beautiful, little known beach near Manly. The beach is only accessible by foot or boat so is quite secluded - although I have seen a boat selling ice creams visit the beach. I recommend avoiding swimming in the days after heavy rainfall, however if it has been raining a waterfall will usually appear.

Here you can hire paddleboards and kayaks to explore the area. I like to hire a kayak to paddle from Rose Bay to Neilsen Park and back - on the way you can get amazing views of Sydney Harbour.

Historic area where you can get a glimpse of colonial Sydney. I would recommend exploring the area, grabbing a drink in one of the old pubs and - if it's a weekend - browsing the Rocks Markets. I would personally avoid eating in most of the places in the Rocks as they can be super touristy.

Take your swimmers and a towel and enjoy. I prefer to swim at the north end of the beach (the left hand side if you're standing on the sand facing the ocean) as there's less tourists and the water is calmer. Don't forget to swim between the flags!
