I think there's great clothes shopping in downtown Vancouver,at Pacific Centre Mall. Also good shopping at Granville Island and the nearby 4th Avenue in Kitsilano.

I like this restaurant as it is different, it is Lebanese food, it has a good vibe, some vegetarian dishes, and it is not super expensive.

A great place in North Vancouver to hike trails in coastal forests and cross the (free) suspension bridge. Scenic water falls in Lynn Creek. Can start the trails at the Ecological Centre and go on a loop back.
