Not only do they serve excellent wine, but the food is hands-down some of the best comfort food you can get right now. Prices are also good. We are very lucky to have this just across the street!

Our favorite sushi restaurant. Expect to wait a few minutes before you get a table as this place is always packed with locals. But it's very well worth the wait! Our favorite dishes: Sushi Sandwich, Vulcano, Sushi Platter Ask for their "off-the-menu" dishes as they sometimes serve specials!

Our favorite Thai food restaurant If you want to take a Motocy (Motorbike Taxi), tell them to drive you to "Ton Koon". But it's also just a small walk from the apartment.

Great little-known place with what is probably the best brunch in Bangkok. If you like fresh fruits, try the french-toast! They also serve excellent coffee!

Live music every night with two bands: "The Big Boy Band" and "The Unicorns" (a all-girl rock band!). Especially "The Unicorns" are great to listen too. There's a ice bar on the top floor (it's a big freezer where you can go to drink shots).

Great little park that is just a few minutes away. You can just sit on the grass and relax or do some sport. There's even some free-to-use sport equipment, basketball and volleyball courts. The park also has some local art and a children playground.

Super secret spot to watch great classic movies. Friese-Greene Club is one of our favorite secret spots! Paul (the owner) converted his house into a private-cinema club and invites everyone to watch classic movies TUE-SUN (free of charge!). The movie always starts at 8pm. Paul usually opens the place at around 6pm. You can buy drinks and snacks at the little bar, then go upstairs and take a seat in the cinema. Really a great little place!
