Great place for younger kids, as who doesn't love trains. My nieces loved it.

Food Scene

Best Burgers and specialty fries in the area. Also, a very local and low key place to get some drinks and watch a game. The place has been around for ever.

Authentic Mexican food, with a decent spread of salsas to choose from. If I remember correctly they are cash only, but don't let that stop you from going and eating some chips, salsa, and corona's on the patio. Perfect for riding your bikes and getting a quick snack before riding into Midtown.

Drinks & Nightlife

New spot in West Sac, attracting a decent crowd. Restaurant on the bottom with live music on the top. Another spot easy to access via bike.

Entertainment & Activities

From the River Cat's AAA ball club, 1/2 Marathons, and brew fests this place hosts a ton of activities. Another great biking activity as they generally have bike valet which is free.

Sightseeing

Lots of restaurants, shops, and sight seeing in Old Sac. Recommend riding bikes, or UBER or Lyft as parking and traffic can be a pain.

Parks & Nature

A car/pedestrian bridge that guides you to the beginning of the Discovery Park Trail which runs from there all the way to Lake Folsom. A well paved and divided trail for pedestrians and cyclist. A great ride.
