Lake Hartwell is fed by two rivers running in from the northeast and northwest - the Tugaloo and Senica respectively. This provides for a very clean lake as they merge and form the Savannah River. The lake is deep and some of the best bass fishing in the USA.

This is a little slice of Bavaria in the middle of the North GA mountains. There are fun restaurants serving Brats and Worsts, river tubing and a water park. It's about an hour drive from the cabin and great for the kids!
