This is a vegan/ vegetarian Mexican spot! How cool- when else will you get the chance to try this. I'm telling you as a Texan, this is good Tex- Mex. Do yourself a favor and split the ginormous nachos with your friends!

This is my hidden gem for gnocchi. I love the lady that works there- she is a riot! Their fresh gnocchi is only $5- perfect for a chilly afternoon while strolling through the plateau.

This place is EGGcelent for brunch. I highly recommend it for the various types of Benedict. Come here for a hearty meal on a lazy Sunday.

If you have not already made a reservation, there is a good chance that you won't get a table. This is the closest thing to a Michelin Star restaurant in Montreal. They have no menu, just a board with the current menu. High prices for high dollar meat.

If they have the fish on their specials, you must get it.

Beatrice is absolutely gorgeous. They often have weddings and intimate gatherings in this unique restaurant which has a tree sticking out of the top of the roof. The fairy lights and proximity make it ideal for a dressed up meal.

This is one of my FAVORITE bakeries in all of Montreal. It is a one-woman operation. She has had this store front for 12 years. She makes the cakes right there in front of you and usually sells out by evening. Delicious flavors like chocolate cardamom chai cake at a decent price.

Kaza Maza is a sweet and small restaurant with delicious mediterranean food. Halal too! I highly recommend it, especially for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. Ask for the table by the window.

Parc La Fontaine is my favorite park in Montreal. It is always bustling with people, gorgeous in the Fall and full of music and life in the Summer. Come here to play some cricket, go for a run, or enjoy the ponds with fish and birds.
