It has a vibrant scene right on the water and incredible food and drinks! It can be difficult to get a reservation, so if they're booked, go early, like 4 pm and put your name on the list and have a drink at the bar while you wait.

Great place to spend a good part of the day...they've got a restaurant with outdoor tables literally on the sand, a beautiful beach (make sure to take a walk toward Point Dume) and a bar that serves drinks that'll really make you feel like you're on vacation!

This isn't a mall, just a really cool collection of shops and restaurants in Venice. My favorite place for lunch/dinner is Gjelina -- some of the best food anywhere in LA, period! If it's the first Friday of the month during the summer, the stores stay open till 9 pm or later, food trucks are everywhere, and tons of people -- very festive!

In addition t the cool stores in the Lumber Yard, there are two other shopping centers adjacent and across the street. Between all three, there's plenty of shopping, dining and a movie theater. Bring your credit card!
