Drinks & Nightlife

Nerja has many restaurants, bars and clubs open until the early hours of the morning, particularly during the summer season, as well as a number of live music venues to suit a variety of ages and tastes and, inevitably, the odd karaoke bar. The main centre of activity, particularly during the summer months, is in and around Plaza Tutti Frutti. At night – and things don’t usually get started until around midnight – it becomes a vibrant heaving mass of humanity with its own charm and character.

A pleasant evening can be had walking along the promenade in Torrox Costa and occasionally stopping for a wine or beer. There are numerous restaurants all along the sea front.

Night Life in Nerja is mainly about eating - there are now over 200 restaurants in Nerja. However if late nights are what you are after it can be found beyond Castilla Perez in Antonio Millon and the adjacent Plaza Tutti Frutti. These are wall to wall with bars, many of them with dancing. This part of town doesn't come to life much before midnight and stays open into the small hours.
