The basic "Char Burger" with or without cheese is just $3.49, and it's a great burger! Try the sweet potato fries, delicious! It has a diverse menu, including some great salads. Only 1 1/2 miles from the house, you can drive there in five minutes and eat in or take out. Warning: this restaurant is habit forming!!

Pleasant walks along the harbor/marina. Hundreds of boats tied up at their slips. Baby Beach is here. A perfect place for kids of all ages to wade in calm water.

Authentic "tall ships" are tied up at the dock. An interesting gift shop and aquarium are on site.

Getting Around
There are several bus stops nearby. This is one of them. That bus stop will take you to San Clemente (Route #1). The stop closest to the house on Golden Lantern, just south of La Cresta is the #90, which goes to Irvine. To go to Laguna, catch the #1 bus in front of the Hobe Store on Pacific Coast Highway. Check the OCTA online for further information.

Each destination is about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. You may want to go to Anaheim on the train to reach Disneyland, or Angel Stadium. For parking for overnight trips, we recommend driving to the Irvine Train Station, which has covered, FREE parking.
