There is a trail that outlines the lake which is great for an early morning hike or bike ride. This is a 4.5 mile hike round trip from the house which is a comfortable ride on bike.

Another great bike ride from the house. Head north on Wightman Rd until you reach the trail head and turn west (left). This trail will take you to Watkins Mill where you can circle around back to the house by way of Apple Ridge Rd and Montgomery Village Avenue.
