Nice international supermarket to buy veggies and fruits. Similar to Alima. Here they have a huge Indian food choice. Also Turkish and other international products. Good prices!

Swimming in the river! Zurichs Limmat is so clean (and very cold), so that you can jump in and float down the river. Do this here or at Oberer Letten. We love to do this in summer! Bring a lock and you can use the free lockers, showers and toilets.

Free bike rental for the day. Bring your passport to checkout bikes and only leave a 20 CHF deposit that you collect after returning the bikes by 21.30h (during summer times) at any of their Züri rollt locations in the city. There is a location close to our place in Enge.

Beautiful walk along the lake to get to this park. Here the city installed a free, public electric barbecue that you could use. Grab some aluminum foil from our kitchen and then buy some BBQ goods at the COOP supermarket near Stadelhofen Bf station on your way over there. Enjoy an evening of swimming in the lake, yummy BBQ and throw a frisbee, kick a ball! :-)

Hike it up! 2 hour walk up in this beautiful forest that already Albert Einstein used to walk around in with his wife..
On top is a nice tower to enjoy the view. There is also a train you could take up here. I winter there is sledding!
