This is my go-to for breakfast (and the key work being fast - which can be hard to find in the beach areas of Costa Rica). Simple local cuisine at a great price - and next door to the grocery store and ATM - great one stop shop!

A delicious hidden gem in Ojochal, about 7 minutes south of Makara down the Costanera. Love the atmosphere here, the staff is amazing, and the food incredible!

Ask for Sonia who owns the tourist center, (and she's amazing) and also a great longtime friend. She and her staff can help with anything from tours, day excursions and other local suggestions. She's located in the center of Uvita (across from BM Supermarcado).
