Hands down the best tacos I've ever had. Best tortilla soup too. Elote' is also worth trying, though this place is cash only and popular, so be prepared to stand in line. Delicious though. BYOB too.

It's my favorite place to have a relaxed dinner. Much of the menu is sourced locally and it's all delicious. Try the "Bird".

It's very close, the portions are big, and the staff is friendly. Peak hours can get crowded, but the home fries and biscuits are well worth the wait. Top notch diner-style cheap eats.

They have the best deli sandwiches I've found in town. Their Banh Mi is especially good, as is the French Dip. Sprecher sodas on tap and a free jukebox make it a done deal.

Super friendly staff, and the pastries and coffee are so good. If you've never had a kolache, make it happen. Savory or sweet, either goes great with coffee.

For New York style pizza, this place is not only the best bet on the east side, but the best in town. No delivery, but they have a walk-up carryout window so you can skip the dine-in crowd.

This is arguably the best kept beer secret on the east side. It looks like your average corner store, but inside is a craft beer paradise. Great way to try a new brew without going to the bar.
