Delicious Italian food (the owners are from Italy). Our favorite is their tomato soup and then any of their pasta dishes are wonderful!

This place hosts "Livermush Monday" in September, following the Yadkin Valley Fiddler's Convention. Eat breakfast or lunch here (she closes at 2:00 pm.).

This gallery is located in a beautiful old house in Lenoir. They have changing exhibits every month and also have a wonderful gift shop area. Like most galleries and museum, they are closed on Mondays.

Every 3rd Saturday between April and October, this historic village is open from 1-5:00. Visitors will learn about two famous local men: Daniel Boone (had a home here for 21 years) and Tom Dooley (from the famous ballad: Hang Down Your Head...). The 3rd Saturday in May from 10-5:00 is the Tom Dooley Festival. The 3rd Saturday in September is the Daniel Boone Festival. Both events have live music, storytelling, a blacksmith at work, weaving demonstrations, local authors present, demonstration of Appalachian Toys, a art exhibit, clogging and much more!
