Under the radar Somali food. They have amazingly tasty chai. The owners are incredibly friendly, and can help you figure out what you might like to order if you're unfamiliar with Somali food. We normally order a Sambusa or two, and then an entree with rice as the side dish. I order the goat; no one else in my family likes it, but I do :)

An upscale, modern take on the Wisconsin supper club. You will feel like you've gone back in time to the fabulous 1920's as you enter through the lobby of the Shorecrest Hotel. Amazing service, fantastic food, and a sophisticated drink menu.

Take a trip to the south side and enjoy an amazing dinner at our favorite Milwaukee restaurant! Bayview is such a fun neighborhood to explore, it's worth the 10-15 minute drive to get there.

Great for breakfast and lunch - for the early risers; it opens at 7 (but is closed on Mondays). Truly amazing menu of home-cooked food and baked goods. This is our favorite breakfast spot.

Walk along the river trail - you can follow this all the way up to the Urban Ecology Center and explore the Arboretum (about a 2 mile hike). There's a cool footbridge across the river that will take you over to the Beerline Cafe, a great vegetarian/vegan spot.
