Sightseeing
Take the short tour at the Kauai Coffee plantation store and view the video to see all the details of coffee growing and processing. Buy some freshly ground coffee! My favorite is the Mundo Novo variety--very smooth and deep flavor. Make it strong--you won't be sorry!

Take a stroll eastward on the greenbelt path to the Grand Hyatt. Just enjoy the views of the beautiful Shipwreck Beach and the awesome landscaping around the hotel, or stop in one of the bars for an iconic tropical drink or a local beer.
For fine dining, don’t miss Tidepools. Great menu and a tropical vibe — beach huts surrounded by a giant koi pond.

This atmospheric tropical gem was created decades ago, but it’s only gotten better with the years. Great food, great ambiance, good service, moderate prices. One of our favorites!
