This place is very popular with and is great for getting a feel for the locals.
The service is quick and very good.

This place is very popular with and is great for getting a feel for the locals.
The service is quick and very good.
Locally owned gourmet burger joint,
A variety of fantastic Hamburgers and fries, washed down with beers or a variety of old timey soda (pop) beverages like but not limited to creme soda, root beer, birch beer and my personal favorite, Northern Neck Ginger Ale (locally produced) which will probably become your favorite Ginger Ale (you can purchase it locally in 12 packs).
These burgers are gourmet and so are quite expensive but well worth the price.

You can arrive by car or boat (plenty of slip spaces).

This is a tiny hole-in-the-wall eatery where you can eat freshly caught seafood straight off the fishing trawler. This place is part of a working seafood packing and distribution plant right on the water where the trawlers dock and unload their catch for processing and distribution to restaurants, seafood outlets, and other customers. A small portion of the trawlers catch can be purchased as take-out or eaten on the premises - inside and outside seating with pristine views of the water. The soft shell crabs (seasonal) and grilled fish sandwich platters are to die for! You will never forget this place!

Old school family restaurant where the locals and vistitors alike have come for decades for honest-to-goodness down home cooking. Whether is breakfast/ brunch or lunch you will not be disappointed.
As well as the standards, there are open-faced turkey sandwiches and gravy, fried chicken, soups, country ham, liver & onions...their mashed potatoes with beef gravy are awesome!
Then there are their deserts...pies, cakes, cobblers and such!
The waitresses are amazing, friendly and for the most part have worked at Lee's years and years.
This place is well worth the drive to Kilmarnock.

As well as the standards, there are open-faced turkey sandwiches and gravy, fried chicken, soups, country ham, liver & onions...their mashed potatoes with beef gravy are awesome!
Then there are their deserts...pies, cakes, cobblers and such!
The waitresses are amazing, friendly and for the most part have worked at Lee's years and years.
This place is well worth the drive to Kilmarnock.
