White City Park is a favorite spot for family and couple's photo shoots. It's small but beautiful! It's a fun place for kids ... and it's fun for everyone to look for alligators!

Definitely recommend One Yoga Planet for a yoga class while you are in the area. They have "donation" classes on Sunday and offer drop-in classes at all levels throughout the week.

We have to pools (both about 17 minutes from the house) and both have splash pads for children as well. The other is located in North Fort Pierce -- called Lakewood on Emerson Road. You can pay to go just for the day and float in the water if you'd like an swimming alternative to the beach.

It's packed with local artists, local farmers, local restaurant carts and more. Go to enjoy the music, scenery, feed the fish or just listen to the live band.

This is a pet friendly beach!! Yes, some people do go to our local beach with their dogs but technically they aren't allowed. Play it safe and head to the dog friendly beach if you are traveling with your fur-family. =)

This small nature center has a few trails that are fun for walking. You'll see turtles, beautiful birds, reptiles and more. It's kid friendly (we go there often) but it's not good when it's rainy or we had a lot of rain because the trails may be flooded.

Great for kids and adults alike. Two huge playgrounds and awesome views of the water (you'll probably see some dolphins). The sidewalks along S Ocean Drive are great so you can park here and walk down the street (north) to get some food and drinks (or vice versa)

This is a great spot where people always hang out for a cook out, outdoor parties, take the kids to cool off in the beautiful splash pad. There is also a children's museum here with tons of play areas as well as a dock and a pretty (but little) beach.

Sightseeing
Check out the aquarium museum, swim at the beach, nap under a palm tree or walk in the park. This is our favorite place to watch manatees and dolphins -- especially at sunset. It's beautiful.

For those of you who are into disc golf ... this is about an hour trip down south of us but is the nicest (nearest) place to play. There are other places closer but some of the courses are less manicured (so we are told!).

There are local theaters in Fort Pierce but we recommend the newer (more state of the art) theater in Port Saint Lucie. Just a quick drive down 95.

An art museum of art lovers. =) It's located at a beautiful park in Vero Beach. You'll have a wonderful time there.
