local favorite Dyrehaven have cheap coffee (a rarity in this town) and a good take on the classic 'smørrebrød' - open sandwich. delicious evening menu, young and friendly staff and great music.

If you like fish, this is a great mid-price restaurant, very close to the apartment and in the busy and popular meatmarket-area.

if you're a runner, this is the place to go. The lakes starts from Vesterbro, 5 minutes from the flat and goes all the way through the city to the east. A nice long run.

great place to see contemporary art, usually there's 2-3 different shows at one time, all very high quality. It's right in the middle of the historic area close to the queen's castle and Nyhavn and lots of other sights, shopping etc etc.there's also a great little bookshop with a lot of artist books and editions.

Beautiful venue and considered one of the best concert places in the city with an eclectic program of electronica and avantgarde, experimental jazz. my absolute favourite.
