Da Adolfo it's on Laurito beach, and hasn't changed much in the last 50 years or so, and that's part of what makes this place special.
Over time it has become kind of a status symbol, a place to absolutely go if you're in Positano.
Nowadays it's always packed with all kinds of people, from jet set to local families.
The atmosphere is something that requires an open mind to be fully enjoyed.
To go there you need a reservation, then you can catch the boat with the redfish that come and goes from the main beach!

If you can't get a reservation but really want to go, my advice is to try anyway, if they won't let you on the boat just say that you're willing to wait for the table.
Maybe you will end up eating at 15:00, but in the meantime, you can enjoy the beach and the incredible atmosphere.
You can also go in a boat taxi and hope for the best, otherwise, you can always come back to the main beach.
