This place is a local gem! There is the restaurant side that serves incredible food and cocktails, but there is also the theatre side where you can see a movie for cheap while eating from their cafe' style menu, and drinking the locally brewed Broken Tooth beers! Each month, they put out a new first tap brew to correspond with live music shows.

One of my favorite downtown restaurants that is off the beaten path a bit and it also features an incredible wine list. Solo travelers can also enjoy this place by sitting at the small bar.

Locals always talk about how they forget about this place, but that's a good thing! Amazing food and wine list, off the beaten path. It's expensive, but you can also just drop into the bar for a small bite, and glass of vino!

While this is the most popular hike near the city, there is a reason! It's incredible, but in addition to Flattop, the Glen Alps parking/trail head area offers access to many, many other hiking trails in the Chugach.
