Fantastic little Italian restaurant just down the road from my house. They have a couples deal on a Monday which is $50per couple for your meal and a drink and on a Tuesday they have the most amazing magician that entertains during dinner. The prices are great, the service is amazing and you will be guaranteed an enjoyable night. It's also a BYO :)

The Carindale hotel is the 'local' for us Carina Heights residents. They have a lovely restaurant and a nice balcony for drinks. Some nights they have live music. Desserts are sensational and they have a large selection of cocktails, spirits and craft beers.

This little cafe located inside Garden city Westifields has one of the best all day breakfast menus i have ever tried. Well worth the try before you shop till you drop.

If you love shopping, you'll love the open air Mall at Queen Street. You'll find pretty much all of your designer stalls in Queen Street Mall as well as high end boutiques and cheaper clothing stores with some real bargains. The Mall also has cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy and lots of buskers playing some great music.

Westfield Carindale is literally a 10-15 minute walk from my house. There's a huge variety of shops and eateries as well as an event cinema and library

This westfield is double the size of Carindale and features an outside dining precinct which is really nice. You'll find every shop you've ever dreamed about as well as an Event Cinema (with gold class) and kids clubs.

Parks & Nature
If you love getting amongst nature, you're going to love Whites Hill walking track. The track is super busy but such an enjoyable walk. You may even see some cute furry or scaly critters on your hike.

A wonderful and challenging hike up to the top of Mount Gravatt lookout where you will see breathtaking views of the city. It's so lovely to have a picnic at the top. There's also a little cafe opened now that serves coffee and cake.
