This guy smokes his own meats right on site and they are top notch - but the secret star of his menu are the shark tacos! Ha!! The jalopeno/mango salsa he puts on them is A-Mazing! This is a great place to stop by and grab take-out - and then take it next door to Braxton's Brewery - enjoy great food and great beer in a great atmosphere!

Great eclectic tacos at great prices. Go early or plan to wait because this place is always busy! And yes, there is really a kangaroo taco on the menu... we are not quite sure about that either! Not too expensive - good drinks. Funky atmosphere. Good staff.

Braxton Brewery is a great low-key spot to grab a beer with your favorite guy or girl - or even your pooch! You can get a drink or a growler to go (we have extras). You can order food and have it delivered there. Watch for our favorite barkeep - Andy - he's great, and we love his bulldog ;)

Chako is one of the most talented bakers we know and you will enjoy the cool things she makes. Good coffee too and straight over 8th street to get there. Easy Peasy.

Chef Baron has a menu that is broad and oh so tasty. We love the curried cauliflower and the roasted brussell sprouts (seriously, they are amazing) and the street tacos are legendary. You can eat at a table or go to the bar in the bar in the back for drinks. Awesome place. Oh, and it's also an art gallery and the local art is for sale. So. Cool.

Coppin's was the local department store and now their building is a fancy boutique hotel. The restaurant is very good - if a tiny bit pricey - but the drinks are fab and enjoying the courtyard just beyond the restaurant is just terrific!

This is a great place to park your car, grab a drink and then take their shuttle or the TANK Southbank Shuttle over to see the Red's or Bengals play!

Goebel Park - don't miss our goats - yes, I said GOATS! We run them through the streets every spring to their happy summer home where they keep the hillsides of Goebel nice and neat. There are lots of things going on over there but the goats...the goats!
