Run by a petite authentic Scottish woman named Donna - who local lore suggest Disney's Brave is based on, The Caledonian is known for its vast variety of fine spirits and good food. We go there often for the Sunday roast beef dinner (go early it sells out) or Monday for the 2 for 1 fish and chips. With a warm fire in the winter and spring and great patio in the summer this place is a locals favourite.

Parks & Nature
The 400 acre park just west of the downtown and easily accessible by the 506 street car is a nature lovers paradise. Watch the cherry blossoms when in season, take your kids to adventure playground, the High Park Zoo or enjoy Shakespeare in the Park. Not to mention the seasonal pool, skating rink, tennis courts, soccer pitch and baseball diamonds.
