Really good Turkish and Greek food. I like this place because of it's simplicity. It's a family run restaurant, the menu is basic, but the food is excellent and the atmosphere is very homely and cosy - quite romantic with candles on all the tables.

This place is not much for atmosphere, so more of a lunch place than a dinner event, but the food is really excellent. Try the bibimbap!

This is a lovely coffee spot and has a small wooden terrace overlooking the street. The deli items are freshly prepared every day with a strong Mediterranean influence as well as your standard Sunday lunch type fair. Good for breakfast and lunch. Brunch? :)

Great for kids - there's always lots of families having picnics and birthday parties on the weekends. The gardens are carefully curated and the park is very safe with onsite security. There is also access to the promenade straight from the park. Beautiful views of the mountain!

The Promenade runs all along Beach Road from Sea Point through Mouille Point all the way to the V&A Waterfront. Lots of joggers, dog walkers and locals and tourists alike taking in the fresh air and magnificent views.

Shopping
The famous V&A Waterfront with postcard views of Table Mountain framed by the harbour. The mall is good for shopping, but there are also excellent restaurants. It is also the departure point for Robben Island and various cruises (yacht cruises, speedboat tours etc).
