Toronto's only castle! Just up the street and about a 30 minute walk. Great for a quick hike - you have to go way up the stairs! They have tours, night events, etc.. I love this place around Halloween and in summer they have light events.

You can take the ferry over for a few hours or the day (around $8) - there is an amusement park for kids and great beaches on Wards Island as well. Make sure you make the last ferry back. You only pay to get there - the way back is free.
