cartoonmuseum.ch / The Cartoonmuseum Basel is the only museum of its kind devoted exclusively to satirical art – from the caricature to the comic.

You want to learn something, but not in a too serious manner? Check out the cartoon museum! Even to just check out the postcards in the museum shop is a fun thing to do.

Point of Interest
“To cross the Rhein you can either walk over the bridges or take one of the 4 ferrys in Basel. It's a nice opportunity to see Basel from another angle...”

Sublocality Level 1
“The Altstadt on the Kleinbasel side is smaller, and generally busier at night, and is where most of the bars are and where nightlife happens. Kleinbasel generally attracts younger residents and visitors. As with the rest of the city center, it is full of old houses and churches from the 14th-16th century. The shores of the Rhine on the Kleinbasel side (particularly between Mittlerebrücke and Dreirosenbrücke are the most popular space to sit down, hang out and enjoy the evening with a bottle of beer or wine among friends, and the views of sunset or of the illuminated Münster and other landmarks at night is always breathtaking.”
