A lovely 12 km circular walk taking in the lovely River Allen, Staward Gorge and Peel and Gingle Pot. The walk can be extended to Cupola Bridge.

Wonderful walk through woodland and now access to Moralee Tarn. It's the largest area of ancient woodland in Northumberland and has been here since at least medieval times. This long history has helped make it a fantastic home for flora, fauna and fungi.

Place of Worship
“Even if you're not religious this Abbey is spectacular for the architecture alone! One can visit to pray and admire until 5pm. The Saxon Vault is well worth the steep steps down! The Abbey sometimes holds events like plays or music too. Entry is free but donations are always much appreciated. The shop is also worth a visit for a keepsake. ”
